Laura completed her Honours, Bachelor of Science in Psychology at York University with a focus on neuropsychology. She subsequently completed a degree in Global Health before delving into the startup world. Her career began in Silicon Valley where she worked at a growth accelerator working with a number of startups, adapting principles of human psychology to sales & capital raising.
