Chethan is a General Surgeon & Trauma Surgeon at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York. He is a freelance medical journalist and a Fellow in Global Journalism at the Munk School of Global Affairs. Chethan writes for a number of major media outlets, including CNN, Scientific American, CBC, and the Toronto Star. He also holds a Masters in Clinical Epidemiology from the Surgeon Scientist program at the University of Toronto.
